Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill joins London restaurants in celebrating the inaugural London Oyster Week – 21st to 29th April
The event aims to challenge preconceptions and promote sustainability by encouraging diners to try oysters and highlighting their lesser known but abundant environmental and health benefits.
Bentley’s will be among 25 top London venues including Noble Rot, Bonnie Gull, Randall & Aubin and The Wright Bros inviting diners holding an ‘Oyster Passport’ to take advantage of oyster menu specials, celebration dishes and one off events with the aim of raising money for The Oyster Academy, a social enterprise which provides training for the oyster industry.
‘Oyster Passport’ holders can enjoy the Bentley’s Oyster Special of six carefully selected native oysters with a glass of Champagne for £25.
The popular Bentley’s Oyster Masterclass with master shucker Helio Garzon who, along with his team, sometimes shucks over 1000 oysters a day will be open to ‘Oyster Passport’ holders at the special price of £60pp including oysters to taste, tips, tricks and guidance on preparing oysters, a glass of Champagne and an oyster knife to take home.
London Oyster Week has been founded by Katy Davidson, an oyster evangelist whose passion has seen her convert thousands of doubters into oyster-lovers at food festivals and events throughout the UK.
Oyster Passports are available to purchase on the London Oyster Week website, and entitles holders to exclusive offers at venues across the city.
